Privacy Policy

Who this covers

This policy covers dmwebservices, a web design, app design and graphics service run by Danny Manning ("I", "me"). If you contact me through this site or buy a package, this explains what personal data I collect and what happens to it.

What I collect

If you use the enquiry form, I collect whatever you enter: your name, email address, company name and project details. If you buy a package through one of the "Get started" buttons, payment is handled entirely by Stripe - I never see or store your card details.

When you visit the site, basic anonymous visit statistics are recorded (see "Cookies and analytics" below). I don't collect your name or contact details through analytics.

What I use it for

• Replying to your enquiry and discussing your project
• Delivering a package you've paid for and getting in touch to start the work
• Keeping basic records for accounting purposes where a payment has been made
• Understanding which pages are visited and how quickly they load, so I can keep the site working well

I don't use your data for marketing you haven't asked for, and I don't sell it to anyone.

Who I share it with

• FormSubmit.co - processes the enquiry form and forwards submissions to my email.
• Stripe - processes card payments securely for paid packages. Stripe's own privacy policy covers how they handle payment data.
• GitHub Pages - hosts and serves this website. They may log standard technical data (like IP address) as part of normal web hosting.
• Cloudflare - provides the Web Analytics service described below. Cloudflare's details are at cloudflare.com/web-analytics.

How long I keep it

Enquiry and project details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you or deliver a project, then deleted. Basic transaction records may be kept longer where required for accounting purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't use Google Analytics or any other tracking tool.

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see how quickly pages load. It doesn't use cookies or local storage on your device, and it doesn't track individual visitors over time or across other websites. Because of this, it doesn't need a cookie banner.

Stripe, which I use for payments, may set its own cookies when you pay. Stripe's privacy policy covers those.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email info@dmwebservices.co.uk and I'll sort it out.

Changes to this policy

I may update this page occasionally as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
