Refunds & cancellation
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Your right to cancel
If you buy services from this website, you usually have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being made, without giving a reason. This comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To cancel, email info@dmwebservices.co.uk with a clear statement that you want to cancel. I will refund you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation.
If you want work to start within the 14 days
You can ask me to start work straight away, within the 14-day cancellation period. If you then cancel, you will pay for the work completed up to that point, based on the agreed price. Once the service has been fully performed within the cancellation period, you lose the right to cancel.
Before work starts
If you cancel before any work has started, you get a full refund.
If I cannot deliver
If I am unable to deliver part or all of what you have paid for, you will receive a refund for the part that has not been delivered.
Domain names and third-party costs
Domain registration fees are paid directly to the registrar and are not refundable once the domain has been registered, unless the registrar allows it.
Monthly upkeep plans
You can cancel a monthly plan at any time, and it will end from the next billing date. You will not be charged again after that, but payments already taken for the current month are not refunded.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, they can take 5 to 10 working days to appear.
Problems or disputes
If something is not right, please contact me before raising a dispute with your bank or card provider, so we can try to sort it out together.
