Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Who we are

These terms apply to services provided by dmwebservices., a web design business run by Danny Manning ("I", "me") as a sole trader in England. You can contact me at info@dmwebservices.co.uk.

The services

I provide website design and build, app design, graphic design, personal app creation, domain setup help, business email forwarding setup and ongoing website upkeep. These are referred to below as "the Services".

Quotes, packages and prices

Prices shown on this website are guide or starting prices, in pounds sterling. The price for your project is confirmed in writing (email is fine) before any work starts. A package bought through this site covers the features listed for that package.

Ordering and payment

Packages bought through the "Get started" buttons are paid through Stripe. Bespoke work is agreed by email and paid as set out in the quote. Work starts once the scope has been agreed and the first payment has been received.

What I need from you

To keep things moving, you agree to send the content I ask for (such as text, photos and logos), answer reasonable questions in a timely way, and make sure any images, fonts or other material you give me are yours to use or you have permission to use them.

Timescales

I will confirm an expected timescale when we agree your project. Timescales are estimates, and they depend on how quickly content and feedback are provided.

Changes and revisions

Reasonable revisions to a project are included as set out in your quote. Requests that change the agreed scope will be quoted separately before I start that work.

Ownership and my portfolio

Once you have paid in full, you own the final design files and content created specifically for you. Third-party materials, such as stock images, fonts, templates and code libraries, stay under their own licences. I may show your finished work in my portfolio and marketing unless you ask me in writing not to.

Third-party services

Your website or app may rely on third-party services such as hosting, domain registrars, Stripe, FormSubmit and email providers. Their own terms apply to those services. I am not responsible for outages or changes they make outside my control.

Monthly upkeep plans

Monthly plans are charged monthly in advance and continue until cancelled. You can cancel by emailing me. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, as set out in the Refunds and cancellation policy.

Liability

I take care with every project, but my total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid me for the work in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. As a consumer, you also have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

Refunds and cancellation

Your cancellation rights and how refunds work are set out in our Refunds and cancellation policy.

Complaints

If something is not right, please email me first so I can put it right.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Changes apply to new orders and to work agreed after that date.
